About the apprenticeship

The apprenticeship follows a dual education system, combining practical and theoretical training.

The practical part takes place in a hotel or restaurant, while the theoretical part is taught at a “Berufsschule”.

The program typically takes three years and concludes with a final exam.

Apprentices receive a monthly salary, which is legally regulated and varies slightly by federal state. On average, the salary is around €1,000 per month.

Our partners

We exclusively collaborate with hotels and restaurants that prioritize apprenticeships and take special care of their trainees. In many cases, apprentices are offered a permanent position as skilled workers after completing their training.

International candidates must have a completed secondary school diploma (comparable to the German Abitur) and provide a recognized language certificate (e.g., from the Goethe Institute) with a minimum B1 level.

What our candidates say

Joshua was the first candidate, whom we brought to Germany in 2023. He now works at the Living Hotel “Das Viktualienmarkt” in the heart of Munich.

Daniella came to Berlin from Namibia in October. Back home, she had already worked in a hotel for several years. She wants to gain experience in Germany and later apply her newly acquired knowledge in her home country.
